We can't wait to see you in Corsica! Here's all the practical info for the weekend.

Saturday, July 4th, 2026

The civil ceremony will take place at the Sisco town hall, located in the hamlet of Munacaghja, at the top of the Sisco valley, at 4:30 PM.

The secular ceremony will then take place around 5:30–6 PM in the hamlet of Balba.

From around 6:30–7 PM, the party will begin and take place entirely in the hamlet of Balba, on the village square.

🚌 Shuttle service (outbound)

To make it easier to get between the different hamlets, we've arranged two shuttle buses that will pick you up from your accommodation at the following times:

  • 3:40 PM for those staying at the Sisco marina (Hôtel U Pozzu or other) – meeting point: in front of the Hôtel U Pozzu. 49-seater bus. Meeting point at the Sisco marina
  • 3:45 PM for those staying at 1001 Nuits – meeting point: in front of the entrance. 49-seater bus.
  • 3:50 PM for those staying in Crosciano – meeting point: on the D32, at the entrance of the village (10 min walk). 49-seater bus. Meeting point in Crosciano
  • 3:55 PM for those staying at Les 5 Arches. Meeting point on the D32. 49-seater bus. Meeting point for Les 5 Arches
  • 4:00 PM for those staying at the Relais de Sisco or the Ferme U San Martinu. Meeting point on the D32. 23-seater bus. Meeting point for the Relais de Sisco

🚌 Shuttle service (return)

During the evening, a shuttle service (minibus) will be available to take you back safely to your accommodation in Sisco, starting from midnight.

🚗 Coming by car

You can also use your own car, but please keep the following in mind:

  • The road (D32) from the marina serving all the valley hamlets is very winding, and passing other cars isn't always possible (expect some manoeuvring)
  • Parking in the villages is very limited, and we'd rather not fill Balba (where the party will be) with not-so-decorative cars
  • There may be police checkpoints with breathalyser tests at the Sisco marina on Saturday evening

Sunday, July 5th, 2026

Brunch will start from 11:30 AM at the Domaine du Pozzu, located at the Sisco marina. We'll be by the sea with the option to swim, so don't forget your swimsuits!

No shuttle service needed as a large car park is available.

🚌 How to get here from the airport?

Bastia-Poretta airport is about 1h15 from Sisco. Here's how to reach the valley without a car:

✈️ From the airport to Bastia

Shuttle buses are available from the airport and generally depart after flight arrivals. They go directly to Bastia train station. More information on timetables: Bastia-Poretta airport shuttles.

From the shuttle stop, it's about a ten-minute walk to Place Saint-Nicolas.

🚌 From Bastia to Sisco

Buses run from Bastia to Sisco, departing from the bottom of Place Saint-Nicolas. Please note: no buses on Sundays. Departures run between 8am and 6pm. Full timetables on the Sisco town hall website.

From the bus stop, the Relais de Sisco is about a 20-minute walk.
